The Honeycutt family will soon be expanding...!!!
We are so proud to announce that our formal application to Bethany Christian Services has been approved!! Yep, that's right!! We are adopting!!! YAY!
After 2 years of riding the emotional roller coaster of trying to start a family with no success, even with infertility treatments, we began praying about the thought of adopting. We really feel this is what the Lord is leading us to do and we couldn't be MORE excited! :)
We have always had it in our hearts to adopt a child one day and that day is getting closer and closer. Our application has been approved and we are now working fervently on our "packet" which must be completed before the next step of a home study. After the home study is approved we will then be "officially" waiting for baby!
We believe that just as God ordains the children we may one day “conceive,” that He has ordained the child that we will “receive” through this adoption process.
We've already made some preparations (gonna do some more painting), here's some pics:
